From High Heels to High Ideas – “Business on High Heels” empowers the EINSTEIN Project

At Business on High Heels, our mission has always been to empower women entrepreneurs, and we are proud to be a member of the EINSTEIN project’s consortium. With its focus on groundbreaking scientific innovation, the project embodies the spirit of collaboration and progress, particularly in nutrition, health, and sustainability.

But EINSTEIN is not just about science; it’s about equality, empowerment, and the incredible role of women in science – a role that has often been overlooked in history. One such example is Mileva Marić Einstein, a pioneering Serbian physicist whose contributions to Albert Einstein’s work remain one of the most debated topics in science history.

This connection to strong, influential women in science inspires our promotion of the EINSTEIN project.

Over the past months, Business on High Heels has been actively promoting the EINSTEIN project at numerous events throughout Serbia to raise awareness among women entrepreneurs about the project’s impact on science, technology, and health innovation.

From regional conferences to workshops and local fairs, we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that women entrepreneurs, local institutions, and the public are informed about this ambitious European Union-funded initiative. Below are the key activities where we promoted EINSTEIN and how we engaged with participants.

Business on High Heels Annual Regional Conference – June 15, 2024

The most significant promotional event was the Business on High Heels Conference, held on June 15, 2024, in Novi Sad. This annual conference brought together several hundred women entrepreneurs from the region, alongside key representatives from local institutions and government. During the event, we dedicated an entire panel to the EINSTEIN project, where our consortium partners presented the project’s goals and progress.

Participants were introduced to the multifaceted nature of the EINSTEIN project, which integrates agriculture, medicine, technology, and education to promote nutritional theranostics. The concept of nutritional theranostics – using edible sensors for health diagnostics – was a fascinating topic that sparked deep interest among the women entrepreneurs. Many asked insightful questions about how these innovations could impact their businesses, especially in terms of how they could integrate health-focused products into their offerings. It was clear that the intersection of health and entrepreneurship was something that resonated with our audience.

Women Entrepreneurship Conference – November 19, 2024

On November 19, 2024, Business on High Heels participated in a Women Entrepreneurship Conference organized to celebrate International Women’s Entrepreneurship Day at the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. This event gathered entrepreneurs and local government representatives, and we made sure to showcase the EINSTEIN project through flyers, brochures, and project materials handed out to every attendee.

The discussions revolved around women’s role in science and innovation, with many expressing curiosity about how initiatives like EINSTEIN can lead to new business opportunities. Attendees were particularly interested in how the project’s nutritional sensor technology could be applied in practical terms, both in everyday life and in the medical industry. The connection between nutrition and health diagnostics sparked dialogue about the future of sustainable and innovative business models, opening doors for new collaborations.

Entrepreneurial Workshop – Zlatibor, January 23, 2025

Next up was a workshop on January 23, 2025, held in Zlatibor, Serbia, at the Innovation Business Centre. This workshop, dedicated to honing entrepreneurial skills for women, provided a hands-on opportunity to dive deeper into the scientific and technological aspects of the EINSTEIN project.

Participants were particularly engaged with discussions around the integration of technology into traditional industries. Many were fascinated by the concept of edible sensors and how they could potentially be used for early disease detection, which ties into growing global trends around personalized health. Some participants were particularly interested in the potential applications for their businesses – be it in food productionhealth tech, or sustainable agriculture.

Additional Promotional Events

Aside from these three major events, we also promoted the EINSTEIN project at various smaller fairs and gatherings held throughout Serbia. At each of these events, our team distributed promotional materials, explaining the project’s goals and emphasizing its potential to revolutionize health diagnostics through innovative nutritional technology. We had numerous conversations with women entrepreneurs eager to learn more about how they could get involved or incorporate these new technologies into their ventures.

EINSTEIN Project in Our Annual Magazine and Brochure

In addition to our events, Business on High Heels also made sure to feature the EINSTEIN project in our annual magazine and brochure. These publications were distributed to entrepreneurs across the region, providing detailed insights into the project’s goals, its scientific foundations, and how it is shaping the future of nutrition and health.

The Impact of These Activities on Gender Equality

Our activities have not only raised awareness about the EINSTEIN project but have also contributed to gender equality in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. By promoting such projects, we are helping to challenge the gender gap in STEM, encouraging women entrepreneurs to explore new fields and become active participants in the scientific revolution that is currently taking place.

These events provided a platform for women to engage in conversations about science and technology – fields where women have historically been underrepresented. By highlighting successful women like Mileva Marić Einstein, we aim to inspire future generations of female entrepreneurs and scientists to break down barriers and create lasting change in their communities.

Looking Ahead

Looking forward, Business on High Heels is committed to continuing its promotion of the EINSTEIN project. We plan to integrate even more educational workshops, networking events, and informational campaigns into our 2025 agenda. Our goal is to keep bridging the gap between science, technology, and entrepreneurship and to inspire more women to take the lead in these fields.

With the EINSTEIN project, we see a powerful opportunity to combine innovation with empowerment, creating a ripple effect that will benefit not only women entrepreneurs but society as a whole.

Through our promotional activities, we hope to continue catalyzing transformation and advancing gender equality and scientific progress – one high heel at a time.

Stay tuned for more updates, and follow us on our journey toward creating a healthier, more sustainable future for all.

By promoting the EINSTEIN project through these events and initiatives, Business on High Heels is helping to amplify the voices of women in science, entrepreneurship, and technology, ensuring that their contributions are recognized and valued.

Through these efforts, we are not only contributing to the EU’s goals for innovation and social equality but also helping to create a more inclusive, innovative society for future generations.
